In traditional Kakhetian style, this wine was made with 6 months of whole bunch skin-contact and fermented and aged in Qvevri for 8 months. Note: this wine is made from the independent grape variety Vardisperi Rkatsiteli which has pink skins and is a natural mutation from its papa, Rkatsiteli. Ergo the name 'pink', however, is still considered an amber wine.
