Quinta da Foz

Quinta da Foz is located in Douro at the junction of river Pinhão and river Douro. The winery dates back to 1872, founded by the Cálem family. In 2014, Filipe Ferreira, a young winemaker from Dão, saw the potential of this emblematic Douro winery and took over. Filipe combined the passion and energy of his new team with the wisdom and tradition of the old to nurture Quinta da Foz to become a quality reference point of the region. The winery consists of a total of 20 hectares of 30 varieties, half of which are planted with vines over 80 years old.
