Ciabot Berton winery is run by five generations of wine growers in La Morra. This is a long-standing relationship formed with Oberto family to La Morra and the hills where Barolo is grown. The story begins in 1876, when Maria bought her first vineyard in one of the finest crus of La Morra, Rive. In the 1980’s, the family continued working towards the separate vinification of the various plots of land. Their aim is to produce wines that express the vineyard’s terroir, unique in each vintage and with the stamp of the family’s exceptional way of working.
