BODEGAS ALBAMAR S.L.

Albamar is a small family owned winery located in Castrelo (Rias Baixas). Xurxo’s parents had been producing wine for more than 40 years for their own use and local sales before Xurxo started experimenting; gaining the first appellation of Rias Baixas for their signature wine “Albamar” in 2006.

Albamar has a total of 7 hectares divided over 15 vineyards across Castrelo, and producing 19 different wines. Using albariño, caíño, espadeiro and mencía varities.

Albamar is invested in continuing its research to produce different wines that represent the area, soil and climate.
