ART OF THE BLEND
Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar
About
Some of the world’s greatest wines are not only the expression of their vineyard, but of the hand of their winemaker in crafting their blend. We’re gathering the stones of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the terraces of Amarone, the ruggedness of Priorat, the banks of the Douro Valley, and, adding a twist to tradition, a pioneering cidery with over 450 apples grown on their home of Salt Spring island.
In this session, led by Tifa Wang of Cult Wine and Elizabeth Markulin of the Naramata Inn, you’ll be a exploring and taste the craft of iconic blended wines and ciders, where each sip is an assemblage of terroir, choice, and vision. In the presence of four winemakers and a cidermaker, you’ll be sitting in on a rare opportunity to taste and discuss the intentionality and craftsmanship in some of the world’s greatest blended sips.
